A proposal for Strategic Revenue Solutions

SRS has 30+ years of combined expertise.
The brand should show it.

A simpler logo, a website built to bring in the right new practices (and the right new staff), and social media and ads that are measured every month. Below are the ideas, and a working homepage you can click through.

How to read this before Wednesday

  • Short on time? Read sections 01 and 02, then answer what you can in section 11. About ten minutes.
  • Tick what you like and add notes anywhere. Your notes are saved in your browser as you go, so you can come back to them.
  • Nothing has to be complete. Press Send to Obai at the bottom whenever you're ready, and again if you add more.
  • Jennifer can open the same link and send her own notes too.
01Where SRS is today

Strong service, quiet website

The service list is deep and the copy has real lines in it, like "You've earned it… we know how to capture it." The site could make the next step much clearer for a practice manager.

How easy is SRS to find?

We ran the kind of searches a practice manager looking for a new biller might use, like "medical billing company Bingham Farms MI" and "anesthesia billing company Michigan". The SRS website did not appear in the results we reviewed. Other billing companies did, including one with a page written specifically for Bingham Farms.

04The new website

Ten ideas, each with one job: bring in a practice

The homepage concept shows ideas 1, 2, 4 and 5 working, and sketches 6 and 7. Open it and try the revenue check.

1

A free first consultation on every page

One clear first step, free and with no obligation: a call about how billing runs today. Any review of real claims happens only after a signed business associate agreement. Today there is no form at all.

2

Revenue check calculator

Uses SRS's own question, "how much should you be collecting?". The practice enters its own numbers and gets a rough, clearly labelled illustration of what unworked denials could represent.

3

A page for each specialty

One page for each specialty you want more of, from the twelve SRS lists: "Anesthesia billing in Michigan", "ASC billing". Each one helps search engines match SRS to those searches, for the specialties you want more of.

4

Tap to call, and a real contact form

Anyone visiting on a phone should reach the office in one tap.

5

A careers page

When we last talked about a website, finding and keeping staff came first. If that is still true, the site should recruit as well as sell.

6

Show the monthly report

A sample report with demo numbers, so a practice sees the kind of report they'll get before they sign.

7

Client stories

Two or three short quotes from current practices, with their permission. Proof from a practice like theirs carries more weight than anything SRS says about itself.

8

Secure document upload

An off-the-shelf secure file service set up for HIPAA (signed business associate agreement, access controls, audit logs), so clients stop sending EOBs by plain email. Nothing custom to build.

9

Google Business Profile and reviews

The map listing for "medical billing near me" can appear in search before the website does. It should match the new brand and collect reviews, asking clients about the working relationship, never about a patient or a claim.

10

A monthly "billing brief" email

Short notes for practice managers: one coding change, one denial to watch. It keeps SRS in mind until they're ready to switch.

Three more ideas from our review

"Switching made easy" page

What happens to claims already in progress and to existing A/R in the first 30, 60 and 90 days. The handoff is what a practice worries about most when it changes billers.

A one-page note for referrers

For the accountants and consultants who already introduce practices to SRS, with the same free consultation offer as the site.

The monthly report, redesigned

The report SRS already sends, in the new brand, with the same figures. Clients see the new SRS every month, long before any dashboard exists.

05Social media

Start on LinkedIn, then keep what brings real inquiries

Three posts a week plus two monthly features, built from what SRS already knows. Allie and Jennifer supply the expertise in one short monthly session; we write, design and post. No patient information in any post: every example is made up or fully de-identified.

Why content matters for a billing company

Choosing a billing company is a trust decision: a practice is entrusting someone with its revenue. Before a practice manager picks up the phone, they look for signs that the company really knows coding, payers and denials. An article that answers a question they actually have is that sign, and it keeps working long after it is written, every time someone searches that question.

Social posts usually fade from the feed within days. Articles on SRS's own site stay, get found in search, and give every post, ad and email something solid to link to. That is why major billing software and revenue-cycle companies publish regularly, and why the associations practice managers already follow are built on the same idea.

SRS doesn't need their budget. It needs one useful article a month on the specialties it knows best. A firm with 30+ years of combined hands-on experience can answer the narrow questions, like billing for a Michigan surgery center.

Write once, use three times

A LinkedIn feed embedded on the website looks busy, but it adds little searchable content of SRS's own, and it vanishes if the widget breaks. So every idea is published on SRS's own site first, then shared.

1 · The site

A short article

Lives in an "Insights" section on SRS's website, linked from the matching specialty page. It gives SRS a growing library of pages that can be found in search over time.

2 · LinkedIn

A post that links back

The headline idea in a few lines, with a link to the full article, so readers land on SRS's site and its consultation offer.

3 · Email

The monthly brief

The month's articles, sent to practice managers who asked for it. A small "Latest on LinkedIn" strip can still sit on the homepage, as a sign the company is active.

08Bigger possibilities

Four larger ideas for later

Each of these is a full project of its own, so each starts with a short scoping step before anything is promised. The first one works whatever the billing system can or can't connect to.

Needs scoping

A client portal, with or without integration

Each practice gets its own secure login on SRS's site. SRS uploads the monthly reports it already produces, and the practice downloads them there instead of by email. A next step could turn those same report files into charts on the portal: payments by month, A/R by age, denials by reason.

First we check: if your billing software already offers client logins or dashboards, we use it (branded where the vendor allows) rather than build a second one. The simplest version shares totals only (charges, payments, adjustments, A/R by age). If reports carry patient details, they stay in the billing software's own portal where one exists, never on the public website; anything we host needs HIPAA-ready hosting, two-step login, strict separation so each practice sees only its own files, and business associate agreements covering everyone who touches the data, including us.

Needs scoping

Connect to the billing system

Monthly figures flow from the billing system's scheduled exports or API into SRS's branded reports and the portal, depending on what the software supports.

First we need to know: the software and version, where it runs, and whether it offers exports or an API.

Needs scoping

SRS-branded client dashboards

Each practice logs in to see its own charges, payments, A/R aging and denials, the monthly report updated on an agreed schedule, under the SRS brand.

First we need to know: what data can be pulled safely. Anything touching patient data needs HIPAA safeguards and a business associate agreement.

Needs scoping

An SRS app

The dashboard on a practice owner's phone, with alerts that only say something needs review (never patient details) and a secure way to send documents.

First we need to know: it builds on the dashboards, so it comes after them, not before.

09The plan

About twelve weeks from yes to running

A target, finalised after the call once we know the page list and who supplies what.

Done

Concept

Logo directions, brand and homepage concept (this page).

Weeks 1–2

Brand

Final logo, colours, business cards, LinkedIn and Google profile.

Weeks 3–6

Website

All pages written and built, specialty pages, forms and tracking.

Weeks 7–8

Launch

Site live, social posting starts, first ads switched on.

Weeks 9–12

Measure

First monthly report, targets set, ads adjusted.

Ways to start

Start

Brand + website

New logo and brand kit, full website rebuild, Google Business Profile.

Grow

+ Social media

Everything in Start, plus LinkedIn content every week.

Full

+ Paid ads and reporting

Everything in Grow, plus Google and LinkedIn ads, recruiting ads and a monthly results report.

Where I would start

Start, with the careers page included. Ads wait until you know how many new practices the team can take on, so growth never outruns staff.

What SRS owns

The domain, the website, every ad and social account, the analytics and all the files. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you.

10Who's building it

I know SRS from the client side

I was office manager at Comprehensive Lab Services when SRS handled its billing, so I saw SRS's work from the practice's side. Today I design and build websites from scratch, with branding and video made in-house, and run social media and ads.

11For our call

Nine things only you can tell us

Type answers under each one, now or during the call. They save as you go.

  1. What matters most right now: hiring and keeping staff, keeping current clients, or winning new ones?
  2. Which practices do you most want more of: which specialties, what size, how far from Bingham Farms, and in which states?
  3. What pace of new-client growth can the team comfortably support right now?
  4. Which roles are you hiring for, if any?
  5. Would two or three current clients let us quote them on the site?
  6. Who manages the website domain, WordPress, the Google Business Profile and Google Search Console? (We only need to be invited as a user, never your passwords.)
  7. Which of the three logo directions feels most like SRS?
  8. Which billing software do you use today? (Your site mentions Genius Solutions.) Does it run on a server in your office or a client's office, or in the cloud, and can it export reports or data?
  9. Does your billing software already give clients a portal, report downloads or dashboards? If so, which ones do your clients actually use?
